NTFS File System is the modern system that Windows use by default and supports the large file.

You should not have a problem send a file larger than 4 gigabytes to a NTFS drive

If you are seeing the “file too large for the destination error’, then you have to covert your destination drive to NTFS

Convert the FAT32 drive to NTFS

Go to My Computer and right click on the destination drive and select format

Now change the File System to NTFS before you format.

format fat32 to ntfs
format FAT32 to NTFS

You can now click on start to format your drive and your problem should be fixed from there.

How to convert FAT32 to NTFS with the command prompt

Press Start Button and search cmd or click “Windows + R” and type “cmd

Press the Enter Button and the command prompt will launch

Next type diskpart and press enter

Type list disk then enter

Up next, type select disk 1 depending on the drive number

Last command is convert ntfs and you are done.
